Dataset description

The dataset contains the Public Institutions for Inter-Municipal Cooperation (EPCI) as of 01/01/2015. Public institutions of inter-municipal cooperation are groupings of municipalities whose object is to draw up “joint development projects within solidarity perimeters”. They are subject to common, homogeneous and comparable rules to those of local authorities. The information presented here concerns own taxation EPCIs: Urban Community (CU); Community d' Agglomeration (CA); Community of Communes (CC); Syndicate d' New Agglomeration (SAN); Metropolis (ME). There are also EPCIs without own taxation: single Vocation Intercommunal Unions (SIVU), Multiple Vocation Intercommunal Unions (SIVOM), Closed Mixed Unions (SM Closed) and Open Mixed Unions (SM Open). File contained in the dataset: epci_fla_r41.shp __Origin__ The boundaries of a restricted zone are represented on the graphical documents of the PPR. Regulatory limits are generally set on natural phenomena, which do not follow cadastral or administrative boundaries. A PPR determines the boundaries of the different restricted zones according to the calculated right-of-way of the site’s hazardous phenomena. Some PPRs may sometimes contain regulations associated with linear or punctual figures (cavities, runoff axis...). The linear and point graphics primitives are to be used in these cases respectively. __Partner organisations__ DREAL Grand Est [ex-Lorraine] (Regional Directorate for the Environment, Environment, Planning and Housing Grand Est), JOGUET-RECCORDON __Links annexes__ * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-jdd-a3c20096-3661-42ff-abaa-1007a485adc3) * [COVADIS data standard: Non-Domanial Water Generating Servants A4](http://geostandards.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/afficherPageStandard.do?jeu=N_A4_GENERATEUR_SUP_L) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/7341b907adaab362ebfca855bc3f3477b8f9d489)
