# Regional archives Pays de la Loire — Regional Councillors of the Pays de la Loire from 1986 to 2010 This list indicates the regional advisers from three terms of office: 1986-1992, 1998-2004, 2004-2010. From March 1986, regional councillors were elected by universal suffrage for six years by the departmental list — unlike the 1974-1986 period (see the dataset “Regional Councillors of the Pays de la Loire from 1974 to 1986”). The list has been drawn up by the Regional Archives on the basis of data from the Assembly department of the Pays de la Loire Region. It shall include the following information: surname and forename, term of office, and a column “Observations” indicating any departures from the regional assembly and the replacement by an alternate elected official. Where the information was available, the role of Vice-President is indicated (but not exhaustively over the entire period).
