Dataset description

These summaries drawn up on the basis of data from the WFD 2010 report, the SDAGE 2009 and the State of play 2009 provide the following information: —the number and percentage of masses d'surface water by global, ecological and chemical good status objective (2015, 2021, 2027 or less strict), classified according to the status of the masses of n°#x27; surface water determined at the time of #x27; state of play in 2009. —the number and percentage of masses of d' groundwater by global, quantitative and chemical good status objective (2015, 2021, 2027 or less strict), classified according to the status of the masses of n°#x27; groundwater determined at the time of #x27; state of play of 2009. —The number and percentage of masses of surface and underground water according to confidence level (high, medium, low, no #x27; information) determining their ecological status or potential and chemical status. —number and percentage of d' exemptions of each type for #x27; total masses of surface water and groundwater (technical feasibility, natural conditions, disproportionate costs) —the number of bodies d'water for the different status/objective pairs for different types of protected area (Conchylicole Areas, Natura 2000 Special Areas of Conservation, Natura2000 Special Protection Areas, Bathing Water, Vulnerable Areas, Areas d' Drinking Water Supply, Other) The WFD defines the " good status; a body of surface water when its ecological status and chemical status are at least good. — The ecological status of a body of surface water results from the assessment of the structure and functioning of the aquatic ecosystems associated with that body of water. It shall be determined by means of quality elements: biological (plant and animal species), hydromorphological and physico-chemical, appreciated by indicators (e.g. invertebrates or fish in stream). For each type of water body (e.g.: small mountain streams, shallow lake of plain, muddy coast, etc., it is characterised by a deviation from the “reference conditions” of this type, which is designated by one of the following five classes: very good, good, medium, mediocre and bad. The reference conditions of a water body type are the representative conditions of surface water of this type, not or very little influenced by human activity. — The chemical status of a surface water body is determined in relation to compliance with environmental quality standards (EQS) by means of threshold values. Two classes are defined: good (respect) and not good (non-compliance). 41 substances are controlled: 8 so-called hazardous substances (Annex IX to the WFD) and 33 priority substances (Annex X to the WFD) The good condition of groundwater is the state reached by a body of groundwater when its quantitative and chemical status are at least " —The good quantitative status of groundwater is achieved when sampling does not exceed the capacity to renew the available resource, taking into account the necessary feeding of aquatic ecosystems. —The chemical status is good when the concentrations of pollutants due to human activities do not exceed the threshold standards and values, where they do not impede the achievement of the objectives set for the surface water bodies fed by the groundwater concerned and where there is no intrusion of salt water due to human activities. __Origin__ The summaries are drawn up by l'ONEMA from the data produced by the DCE basins for the DCE reporting, the SDAGEs and the States of the Place __Partner organisations__ ONEMA [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/b1a3ef71debcd0f468e65bdb8d4b1fafa07345cc)
