Dataset description

An environmental contract is an instrument of ' intervention at the watershed scale. Like the SAGE, it sets objectives for the river for water quality, for the enhancement of the aquatic environment and for the balanced management of water resources and provides in an operational manner (programme for 5 years, designation of the masters of #x27; structure, method of financing, deadlines of the works, etc...) the methods of carrying out the studies and works necessary to achieve these objectives. Unlike the SAGE, the objectives of the river contract are not legal. The middle contract encompasses the concepts of a river, lake, bay, or tablecloth. prefect(s) of department(s), water agency and local authorities (general council, regional council, municipalities, inter-communal trade unions, etc.). Only the procedures followed in the basin committee shall be taken into account. The reference texts are the Circular of 5 February 1981 on River Contracts and Ministerial Circular No. 3 of 30 January 2004 on River and Bay Contracts. A middle contract does not have a founding regulatory text. A river committee can, in theory, be created without the establishment of a middle contract thereafter. The act giving its reality to the middle contract is the signature of the contract by the partners concerned (or a contract is not a regulatory text). __Origin__ Agglomeration of municipalities according to prefectoral decrees and the content of river contracts conversion to SHP format in January 2016 __Partner organisations__ DDTM Gard, DDTM 30 — SER __Links annexes__ * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-jdd-26082b88-a1c8-47c9-8cb3-73658cc02284) * [COVADIS data standard: Middle Contracts](http://geostandards.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/afficherPageStandard.do?jeu=N_CONTRAT_RIVIERE_ZSUP) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/536a4f31cc4d2e56c69e3849fb4b57c865e32003)
