Dataset description

Flood vigilance sections represent those parts of watercourses on which state services provide a regulatory mission of monitoring, forecasting and transmitting flood information. Each section is assigned a color: green, yellow, orange or red, depending on the level of alertness required, indicating the danger likely to occur in the hours, or days to come. Outside of the flood period, a national newsletter and local news bulletins specify the evolution of floods twice a day, at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. In times of floods, these bulletins are updated more frequently. All this information can be accessed from the website: https://www.vigicrues.gouv.fr The flow described in this sheet corresponds to the provision, at each publication of the flood vigilance, of a geographical representation **simplified** of the sections with the associated level of vigilance. This is a geojson stream accessible below. The original geographical representation of the sections was constructed from the BDCarthage hydrographic sections, which are simplified for this stream. In accordance with the Etalab license, it is requested to include the origin of the stream in the reuses.
