Rural municipalities within the meaning of the GIP

List of rural municipalities in the sense of ‘eligibility to the DGE’, global allocation of equipment paid to the department of Saône and Loire. Prefectural Decree n°2017103-001 of 13 April 2017. Article D3334-8-1 of the General Code for Local and Regional Authorities: The following municipalities shall be regarded as rural municipalities for the purposes of Articles L. 3334-10 and R. 3334-8: — municipalities with a population of not more than 2 000; — municipalities with a population of more than 2,000 inhabitants and not more than 5 000 inhabitants, if they do not belong to an urban unit or if they belong to an urban unit whose population does not exceed 5000 inhabitants. The urban unit of reference is that defined by the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies.
