The rivers on which the State supports monitoring, l' information and forecast of floods are cut into sections, in order to establish vigilance colors by homogeneous sector. The Crues Maine Loire aval forecasting service is responsible for monitoring 12 sections located on the following rivers: the Loire, Maine, Mayenne, Sarthe, l'Huisne, Loir, l'Oudon and Sèvre Nantaise.
