Dataset description

A bondage is the spatial field (i.e., the geographical area) to the #x27; within which s' applies the servitude. A building classified or proposed for classification shall be considered to be located in the field of visibility of any other building, bare or built, visible to the first or visible at the same time and situated within a perimeter n' not exceeding 500 metres. Exceptionally, this perimeter can be extended to more than 500 meters. A decree in Council d' State, adopted after the opinion of the High Commission of Historic Monuments, will determine the monuments to which s' applies this extension and delineate the perimeter of protection specific to each of them.During the preparation or revision of #x27; a local plan of #x27; urban planning, the perimeter of 500 meters may, on proposal of #x27; architect of the Bâtiments de France and after the agreement of the municipality, be modified to designate ensembles d' buildings and spaces that participate in the?#x27; environment of the monument to preserve its character or contribute to improving its quality. The perimeter is subject to public inquiry in conjunction with the local plan of urban planning.
