Signal Trees — Angers

List of trees, of large sizes, which are planted in all neighborhoods of the City of Angers in order to make a lasting mark on the Angeline landscape of tomorrow. A signal tree is a tree planted on the public space marking the landscape by its presence, silhouette, development, harbour or the specificities of its species. It is planted in a spirit of long-term sustainability on a site often of high visibility, to be able to develop in free port, harmoniously and without constraint over time. Not to be confused with the remarkable tree, which is a definition of a legal tool provided for in urban planning documents to protect existing trees recognised in view of their age, their size or their essence (rareness) both in public and private spaces.
