Simulator to CALCULATE INDEMNITES FOR ABUSIVE LICENCIMENT

The official website of the French administration [service-public.fr](https://www.service-public.fr) refers to some sixty simulators available to answer a wide range of administrative questions that arise for individuals and professionals. Some of these simulators have been developed by the Directorate of Legal and Administrative Information (DILA), including the [simulator to CALCULATE INDEMNITES FOR ABUSIVE LICENCIMENT](https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/R49067). This simulator indicates the minimum and maximum amounts of compensation for damages (prud’homales indemnities) which may be fixed by the judge to prud’men, in case of unfair dismissal, i.e. irregular or without real and serious cause. These floors and ceilings, which are now imposed on the judge, concern only redundancies notified to the employee after 23 September 2017. **Attention:** the judge is not bound by these amounts in certain cases of nullity of dismissal (in case of violation of a fundamental freedom, acts of psychological or sexual harassment, discriminatory dismissal,...). The simulator data is updated according to regulatory developments.
