Social Assessment — Degree Promotions Following Professional Examination (Details)

This dataset lists, by year, the number of male and female incumbents who have received a grade promotion following the passing of a professional examination. Promotion has the effect of leading to the passage of an official into a higher grade. This promotion can be achieved by advancement **by choice** or by advancement **after professional examination**. The variable **Filière** appears in 2016. The social assessment of the Parisian community provides, each year, quantitative but also qualitative information on the human resources of the City of Paris. It traces the evolution of the main indicators relating to human resources policy, be it staff, remuneration, hygiene and safety, careers and training, working conditions and social relations. In anticipation, the datasets “Bilan Social” have integrated the [community merger](https://www.paris.fr/actualites/paris-fusion-de-la-ville-et-du-conseil-departemental-6373) relating to [Order No. 2018-74](https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/affichTexte.do?cidTexte=JORFTEXT000036585048&dateTexte=&categorieLien=id) as of 2018. The code _City of Paris_ therefore replaces from 2018 the codes _Commune_ and _Department_ of the Collectivity column.
