Dataset description

Sound classification of land transport infrastructure of the Department of Saône-et-Loire, published by prefectural decree dated 30 January 2017 __Origin__ The noise classification is based on the noise emission levels (LAeq) of the infrastructure for the periods of day (6:00 to 22:00) and nocturnal (22:00-6:00), based on traffic expected by 2033. Sound levels are calculated according to track characteristics (traffic, speed, pace, percentage of heavy goods vehicles, pavement, track geometry: profile, width, ramp) according to standardised methods (see CERTU Guide “Methodological elements for noise classification of land transport infrastructure”). The sound classification also takes into account the immediate environment of the infrastructure by introducing the concepts of “U-street” or “open fabric” for which the sectors affected by noise are of different widths: — open fabric: roads in unbuilt areas or lined with buildings on one side or in non-continuous flag areas; — street in U: urban roads lined with buildings arranged on either side almost continuously and at a certain height. The classification of road infrastructure and high-speed railway lines and the maximum width of the sectors affected by noise on the other side and d' other of the infrastructure shall be defined according to the reference noise levels in the following table: Infrastructure category Reference sound level LAeq (6h-22h) in dB(A) Reference sound level LAeq (22h-6h) in dB(A) Maximum width of areas affected by noise on both sides of the infrastructure(*) 1: L > 81 L > 76 300 m 2: 76 < L ≤ 81 71 & L ≤ 76 250 m 3: 70 < L ≤ 76 65 < L ≤ 71 100 m 4: 65 < L ≤ 70 60 < L ≤ 65 30 m 5: 60 < L ≤ 65 55 & L ≤ 60 10 m (*) The width shall be counted from the edge of the roadway of the nearest track in the case of roads, from the outer rail of the nearest track in the case of railway tracks. For conventional railway lines, the limit values for the reference levels are increased by 3 dB(A) pursuant to the Decree of 8 November 1999 on noise from railway infrastructure. The values to be taken into account are: Infrastructure category Reference sound level LAeq (6h-22h) in dB(A) Reference sound level LAeq (22h-6h) in dB(A) Maximum width of areas affected by noise on both sides of the infrastructure(*) 1: L > 84 L > 79 300 m 2: 79 < L ≤ 84 74 & L ≤ 79 250 m 3: 73 < L ≤ 79 68 < L ≤ 74 100 m 4: 68 < L ≤ 73 63 < L ≤ 68 30 m 5: 63 < L ≤ 68 58 & L ≤ 63 10 m __Partner organisations__ DDT Saône-et-Loire __Links annexes__ * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-jdd-1976efdc-7cf5-4edb-b6f8-5a350c47fcae) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/60889feb12141e29d497153273bbc97deac75271)
