SRCE: Reservoirs of biodiversity rivers of the SRCE Poitou-Charentes

Water classified as reservoirs of biodiversity by the SRCE Poitou-Charentes. __Origin__ Based on the information provided by Carthage, the rivers were cut into elementary sections and subjected to a multi-criteria analysis based on four criteria: ecological status of water bodies (EE), overlapping with mandatory or non-compulsory biodiversity reservoirs (Z1 and Z2), presence of indicator species (E), with the exception of the case of the Vison of Europe, for which Poitou-Charentes has a special responsibility. The river sections have been prioritised on the basis of these criteria in order to select the most functional spaces, corresponding to the pre-identified biodiversity reservoirs of the territory. The results of the multi-criteria analysis were supplemented where appropriate by verifying the systematic consideration of all classified rivers, migratory axes, the eel Priority Action Area (PAA), and the biological reservoirs and priority axes of the SDAGEs.
