Dataset description

This dataset is built from the [XML flow](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/prix-des-carburants-en-france/) of the year 2014 (j-7...) of the Ministry of Economy. It contains service stations (in the form of points of interest) with a yearly sales volume exceeding 500 cubic metres (all products). The fuel field is generated according to whether there are declared rates for each of these and takes into account their break-up dates (if any). If a break is indicated and a price is then mentioned at a later date for this type of fuel, that fuel will be present. If no prices are mentioned later, this type of fuel will not be included. This field is therefore reliable at the time of CSV generation. The “services” field is not completely reliable, at least for the LPG. After several checks, if this field contains “LPG” but the field “fuels” does not contain it, it can be considered that the station does not sell it. The legal obligation to supply the file concerning only the prices at the pump, the list of other services offered may not be up to date. So we can't completely trust the opening hours either. The source XML model does not lend itself to precision. For example, an establishment is indicated as open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Saturday and Sunday. In reality the hours of this establishment are: from 8 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 12:30 on Saturdays and closes on Sundays. Fortunately, many pumps are now equipped with a blue card. But unfortunately this information is not specified in XML. **List of fields and meanings:** “ID”: departmental Identifier “LatLng”: GPS coordinates of the form “latitude, longitude” ‘road type’: “A” for motorway and “R” for road “address”: address whose trolley returns are materialised by the character “|” “municipality”: name of the municipality “postal Code”: postal code of the municipality “hdebut”: opening time “hfin”: closing time “except day”: the aforementioned days or times do not apply “services”: list of services offered separated by the character “|” ‘fuels’ means: list of available fuels separated by the character “|” “activity”: “O” if the establishment is active, “N” otherwise and “T” for temporary closure (some have been active since 2009). This field results from the same type of treatment as for ruptures, so it is reliable at the time of CSV generation.
