Dataset description

Stretch of juror ditch In the Â#x27;ex Generality d' Orléans existed a system designed to facilitate the evacuation of floodwater from the Loire, a system consisting of “sworn ditches”. Belonging to the origin of custom, these ditches were regulated and classified in the 18th and 19th centuries. The juror ditches were the subject of a special regulation for their maintenance and operation, which is more applied today. Some juror ditches fall under the status of non-federal water, d' others do not. Control of the perimeter of the Loiret SAGE.
