Dataset description

The purpose of this study is to update the state of play in accordance with the recommendations of the Water Framework Directive for groundwater bodies in the Adour-Garonne basin. The review of the previous state of play was initiated in early 2012 as part of the preparation of SDAGE/PDM 2016/2021. The review, or update, of the state of play of the groundwater bodies of the Adour-Garonne Basin focuses on the knowledge of pressures and their impacts, the status of water bodies and the risk of not meeting the environmental objectives by 2021. It takes into account data available and updated until 2010 inclusive. The stages of the study led to: —to carry out an inventory of the data and methods relating to the pressures, their impacts and the quantitative state needed to update the state of play (EdL) of the groundwater bodies of the Basin, —propose and implement methods for assessing pressures, qualitative and quantitative, as well as their impacts, —propose and implement methods to assess the quantitative status of groundwater bodies in the Basin, —propose and implement a method to evaluate and qualify the qualitative and quantitative RNAOE of groundwater bodies in the Basin, —produce summarising elements of basin, by territorial commission and by MESO, to communicate the results. This work is based on past studies and data collections. It is a question of valuing the existing one and identifying any gaps that could be addressed by different studies carried out at the Basin level. No data were acquired in the context of this study, only the methods of exploitation of these data were created and/or adapted, within the time allowed for carrying out this study. __Origin__ Non-geographical characterisation data of d'water. __Partner organisations__ Agency of l'eau Adour-Garonne __Links annexes__ * [presentations by Territorial Commissions — BRM](http://adour-garonne.eaufrance.fr/upload/DATA/THEMATIQUES/DCE/EDL2013/RAPPORT_EDL2013_BRGM_STL_EauxSout_Presentations) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/11c48be335c40c5596cf728f2b191076bff95229)
