Dataset description

The tremi survey — Energy Renovation of Individual Houses — is unpublished. In line with the OPEN observatory, carried out by ADEME since 2006, the survey presents a different methodology and scope of observation. This survey focuses on the work carried out between 2014 and 2016 in single houses (private and public parks). The survey aims to improve knowledge of the perception on the ground of national and local policies to encourage energy renovation of housing. To date, it is the only national survey, carried out with a large sample of individuals, to study finely: The work done to improve the energy performance of housing, The motivations of households to carry out work or, on the contrary, the obstacles encountered, The awareness and use of national schemes dedicated to renovation. The tremi survey was carried out in the spring of 2017, online, among a representative sample of the French population of 29 253 households residing in private homes in mainland France. This dataset presents the results of the household survey. It is accompanied by: A file Read me The survey questionnaire A dictionary of codes associated with the table A table containing flat sorts (or ‘marginal’) A table containing cross-sorting A summary brochure A statistical methodological note (and its "target="_blank">annexe) Precision on the dataset: The level of disaggregation of the data table is: — 1 line per household respondent who did not carry out work (response Q1 = 97) — X line (s) per respondent household having performed X type (s) of work (X response (s) to Q1)), thus doubling the characteristic variables of the household.
