Dataset description

The Daily Life and Health survey was conducted between the end of 2014 and the beginning of 2015 among 170,000 people living at home in metropolitan France and overseas departments. The results regarding perceived health status, difficulties in carrying out daily activities and the use of assistance, the distribution of persons by autonomy group are thus compared with data on life expectancy, and the distribution by previous socio-occupational category of pensioners. They make up the key results of the 2014 Daily Life and Health Survey — Departmental Results. The Daily Life and Health Survey is the first part of the CARE survey scheme on seniors, designed by DREES, led by the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) and supported by the National Solidarity Fund for Autonomy (CNSA).
