Dataset description

An urban transport perimeter concerns the territory of a municipality or the territorial jurisdiction of; a public institution which has received a mission to organise public transport of passengers. At the request of the mayor or the president of the public institution, the representative of the State observes the creation of the perimeter, after consulting the General Council in the event that the departmental plan is concerned. [.] In the departments of Overseas, the representative of the State, on the proposal of the mayor or the president of the public institution, may define a perimeter excluding certain parts of the territory of the municipality. The urban transport perimeter may also include several adjacent municipalities that have decided to organise a public passenger transport service. The creation and delimitation of this perimeter are determined by the representative of the State at the request of the mayors of the municipalities concerned after the opinion of the general council.Only the PTUs in preparation or validated are part of this class of #x27; objects.Except special cases defined by law, l' decree of creation of n°#x27; a community of #x27; agglomeration or d' an urban community or an urban community; a public establishment of inter-municipal cooperation into a community of #x27; agglomeration or an urban community is equivalent to the establishment of an urban transport perimeter in accordance with the law on solidarity and urban renewal. The perimeters on which the SRU mixed trade unions, created by application of the SRU law, exercise their powers are not urban transport perimeters. __Origin__ Three genealogies are possible to obtain the constitutive dataset of a PPR: * L#x27; preparation of the PPR has taken place a posteriori of the publication of this standard. The master of the PPR was able to take into account the technical specifications of the PPR standard from the start of the procedure. * The development of the PPR and the publication of this standard are concurrent. The geographical data had to be the subject of a “hot” standardisation during the procedure, taking advantage of the knowledge of all stakeholders in the file. * Publication of the standard took place after the adoption of the PPR procedure. The master responsible for managing the PPR decided to take over the file to produce the data in COVADIS format. This production may involve the resumption of pre-existing geographical data as a share of digitisation. This metadata can be usefully supplemented with the specific characteristics of the datasets obtained by indicating whether the quality recommendations (B.4) of the standard have been met or possibly measured, and by specifying any technical limitations caused by the procedure used. __Partner organisations__ DDTM Pas-de-Calais __Links annexes__ * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-jdd-1bf4e7c2-6104-4219-b98c-085b58f10d86) * [COVADIS data standard: Urban transport perimeter](http://geostandards.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/afficherPageStandard.do?jeu=N_PTU_ZSUP) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/4c0522ef83655280800a32a35de24364ede77a60)
