Dataset description

An urban transport perimeter concerns the territory of a municipality or the territorial jurisdiction of; a public institution which has received a mission to organise public transport of passengers. At the request of the mayor or the president of the public institution, the representative of the State observes the creation of the perimeter, after consulting the General Council in the event that the departmental plan is concerned. [.] In the departments of Overseas, the representative of the State, on the proposal of the mayor or the president of the public institution, may define a perimeter excluding certain parts of the territory of the municipality. The urban transport perimeter may also include several adjacent municipalities that have decided to organise a public passenger transport service.
