Voluntary contribution points for household waste in Rennes Métropole

Points locating voluntary intake points (VAPs) for household waste. Each point supports one or more waste streams: glass (VE), magazine journals (JM), household garbage (OM), multi-materials (MM). Voluntary collection is complementary to other ways of collecting household waste: door-to-door, shredder. The descriptive attributes of the VAPs are extracted from the business database (named Gesbac) and made accessible in the GIS through the “space_public.gesbac_pav” table. The “space_public.v_gesbac_pav” layer is a view that facilitates the exploitation of PAV data. It makes it possible to consult the geometry of the points, the descriptive information from Gesbac, and the complete and correctly spelled addresses from the RVA. The use of this view (targeted in the ArcGIS layer file) should be preferred.
