Wasteland and hollow teeth in the department of Marne

Since 2009, the departmental management of the Marne territories has carried out a census of the mutable land resources within the main urban areas in Marne. This census covers land right-of-way corresponding on the one hand to known or probable wasteland of all types (industrial, railway, military, etc.) and, on the other hand, to undeveloped areas described as ‘hollow teeth’. The minimum area selected is 5 000 m², relevant threshold, agreed at national level, to allow the construction of a comprehensive urban conversion project. __Origin__ A first census was carried out on the basis of databases of the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy BASIAS and Basol, listing polluted sites.
