Dataset description

Water or portion of courses d'water to be bordered by weed bands under good agricultural and environmental condition (GAEC) within the framework of cross compliance, defined by the prefectural decree of 06/05/2006. All farmers who have agricultural land located at 5 metres from the edge of 5 metres; a water course retained under the GAEC are required to establish, along these courses of water, a buffer strip of n°#x27; a width of at least 5 meters. The selected water courses are shown in full blue strokes on the most recent 1/25 000th IGN maps as well as discontinuous blue strokes following the full blue line bearing the same name. The authorised cutlery is herbaceous, permanent and sufficiently covered. Conditionality, introduced in 2005, guarantees a more sustainable agriculture and thus promotes a better acceptance of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) by citizens. This scheme makes the payment of Community agricultural aid subject to compliance with basic requirements relating to the environment, good agricultural and environmental condition (GAEC), health and animal protection. All farmers are concerned. These courses of water were first defined in the interministerial circular Map-Medd DGFAR/SDSTAR/C2005-5046 of 27 September 2005, pursuant to the Decree of 12 January 2005 adopted for the second time; application of Articles R.615-10 and R.615-12 of the Rural Code and on the rules of environmental cover and of #x27; addition. __Origin__ From the IGN data (SCAN 25 and BDCarthage), retain the water (EC) courses that meet the following criteria: # This natural (we eliminate canals and other articial CEs) # permanent CEs (on SCAN25: full blue line): we eliminate the water planes... # intermittent CEs (dotted blue stroke) that extend a permanent CE with the same name. Note: BDCarthage water courses are consistent with SCAN25 in terms of EC status: intermittent & permanent dotted blue print & full blue print. BDTOPO CEs (more accurate and detailed than BDCarthage) have more discrepancies with SCAN25 on CE status. This is why we used the BDCarthage CEs. __Partner organisations__ DDT Haute-Garonne __Links annexes__ * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-jdd-9aed8d05-6dcd-4f1d-8d0f-1a5913b03783) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/6a455ca0ebe7b5698f0e383a7438da0135f524e4)
