The catchment area is defined as the water collection area, considered from #x27; an outlet: it is limited by the contour to the ¨#x27; within which all the waters s' flow on the surface and underground to this outlet. Its boundaries are water sharing lines. In addition to the catchment areas defined in the BD Carthage framework on the basis of the reference river basins, procedures (e.g. control basins defined by drought protocols) or the specific needs of the services (e.g. river watersheds or watersheds upstream of #x27; a catch of #x27; water) may lead them to create dedicated watersheds, referred to as “specific watersheds” or “watersheds of #x27; use” associated with particular points.
