Dataset description

Areas favourable to wind power in the Vosges department as defined in the Lorraine Wind Regional Scheme (SRE). The regional wind scheme (SRE) aims to better organise the development of the wind sector. It defines in the regional territory the zones favourable to wind power by associating them with an installed power target at the end of 2020. It is developed jointly by the State Departments (DREAL) and the Regional Council in collaboration with many stakeholders. Wind-friendly areas correspond to the geographical areas that a regional wind scheme has identified as favourable to the development of onshore wind energy. They allow the State to regulate the development of wind power in order to prioritise its location in the most suitable areas of the national territory and to limit its impact on the environment and on man. The zones favourable to wind energy become effective as early as #x27; adoption of the SRE, which has the main consequence of limiting all new wind development zones to one of their perimeters. __Origin__ The perimeter of each zone favourable to wind is delimited by the regional wind scheme. A zone favourable to terrestrial wind is represented by a surface object which does not s' does not necessarily rely on the topology of the municipal administrative division. The geometry of the zones favorable to the wind is obtained either by the recovery of the geographical data used to develop the adopted SRE, or by the capture of the map documents contained in the SRE. __Partner organisations__ DDT Vosges, Office of Data Administration and Valorisation (BAVD) __Links annexes__ * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-jdd-e426898f-4c62-4191-8b15-906b4626e293) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/bc1b5c48aa132e7a4ad063079bb22acf306f33ba)
