Dataset description

The private company EED (Development Wind Space) was commissioned by the Brittany Region to build this database as part of the wind regional scheme published in July 2006. For reasons of Mapinfo/Arcview compatibility, wind speed values have been multiplied by 100 (meters/second). __Origin__ This data is the result of interpolation made on point measurements. The reference points are measurement masts (7 defined subregions of which are the reference masts: 29: Ploumoguer, Guimaëc — 22: Plougras, Lanfains, Trebry — 56: Saint-Armel — 53: The Breon). These masts were chosen on the basis of the following quality criteria: — recovery rate with a quality weather station & 75 %; — period of observation > Eight months. The model used is that of the WAsP software __Partner organisations__ Region Brittany __Links annexes__ * [simple viewer](https://kartenn.region-bretagne.fr/sviewer/?layers=rb:v80_1000m) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/393ac1453936312633127aa2688d6d6a2721f151)
