Dataset description

This dataset lists the winning projects of the PEPITE Award — Spring for Student Entrepreneurship Created in 2014, this award promotes innovative business creation by students and young graduates. It is organised by the Ministry in charge of Higher Education and Research, in partnership with the Caisse des Dépôts. It is one of two components of the i-LAB scheme with the national support for the creation of innovative technology companies. The winners are selected by a national jury after a pre-selection of projects at the PEPITE level. This national jury is composed of teachers-researchers and entrepreneurs. The game is supplemented with data from the SIRENE database, in particular activity or location, for companies active in November 2018 identified by their SIREN code.
