Dataset description

* * Cartography of the Low-Emission Area (ZFE — ex ZCR Zone with Restricted Circulation) in Paris. * * * * Launched in 2015, reinforced in 2017 and then in July 2019, the Paris Low Emission Zone is taking a new step: From 1 June 2021, the restriction on the use of vehicles classified as Not classified, Criterion’Air 5 and Criterion’Air 4 shall enter into force throughout Paris, including peripheral boulevard and wood. * * This is part of a metropolitan context: * * the entire perimeter of the A86 motorway (A86 excluded) is affected by the same traffic restrictions. * * The FZs consist of progressively restricting the circulation of the most polluting vehicles according to their sticker Criterion’Air (or air quality certificate). They are aimed in particular at speeding up the rejuvenation of the vehicle fleet, reducing emissions of air pollutants from road traffic, reducing the number of people exposed to air pollution, encouraging the development of new mobility, etc. The introduction of a low-emission metropolitan area was also mandatory by the Law on Mobility * * of December 2019. Article 86 of the Law of 24 December 2019 on the Guidance of Mobility (LOM) * * replaced the legislative package on ZCR with new provisions on the low mobility area (ZFE mobility) * *, more commonly known as ZFE. * * What difference between ZCR, ZFE, ZFE mobility? * * All these acronyms refer to the concept of Low Emission Zone, which was introduced in Sweden in 1996, and in most countries in Europe since that date. In France, the term initially used was that of ZCR (Restricted Circulation Zone) in Decree No 2016-847 of 28 June 2016. * * This dataset describes the traffic restrictions in force since 1 June 2021 by sector, type of vehicle and sticker Crit’Air for a period of 3 years on all lanes of the City of Paris. * * * * This is a geographical transcription of the * * [* * City of Paris — Police Prefecture No 2021P110297 * *] (https://cdn.paris.fr/paris/2021/05/28/23fb2b69cfa451a4e517f1bc6e3001b7.pdf) * * of 28 May 2021 establishing a restricted traffic area in Paris. * * * * This order and consequently its geographical transcription cover only the territory of Paris. * * This dataset is provided as an indication to facilitate its use. * * Only the decree has regulatory value. * * * * This dataset complies with the [National Schéma de Transport.data.gouv.fr] (https://doc.transport.data.gouv.fr/producteurs/zones-a-faibles-emissions) * * It is intended to form part of a set of data incorporating the decrees of the other municipalities of the Métropole du Grand Paris.
