General brief description: For the protection of natural goods, nature-related uses and ecological functions against other uses or land use, the Regional Plans may designate land conservation areas in the form of priority and reserved areas. In priority areas, nature-related uses and the fulfilment of ecological functions take precedence over other, especially structural uses. On the other hand, other land-significant uses or measures must be weighed in reserved areas. The soils and sites that are well suited for agricultural and forestry use, which enable economically and ecologically efficient production, should be conserved as a central source of production; they may only be provided for other uses to an undeniably necessary extent.
