Dataset description

indeed flooded areas during the flood events on 12/13.08.2002 (waters 1 and 2. Order) and on 17.08.2002 (Elbe) Content: The images were generated from aircraft of the Bundeswehr to the highest level of the Elbe (17.08.2002) and satellite images (18.08.2002) as well as numerous documentation by employees of the city administration and citizens using the urban digital terrain model (DGM). The actual extension was last verified in July 2003 as a result of an online citizen survey.
