Dataset description

With the Airborne Laser Scanning method, the earth’s surface including vegetation, buildings, etc., is recorded by means of irregularly distributed points. The data is classified after collection into “ground points” and “non-floor points”. They are mainly used to calculate digital terrain models as well as digital surface models. Spatial resolution: 1996-2006: 4.5 m — 1.5 m; from 2010 onwards: 0.5 m
