Dataset description

The Baden-Württemberg species and biotope conservation programme, enshrined in Section 39 of the NatSchG, is an important and particularly responsive toolbox of the Land for the protection and conservation of highly threatened animal and plant species and their habitats. It is therefore central to biodiversity in the country. For reasons of species protection, the data will only be set as a grid in FreiGIS. Information on specific occurrences can be requested from the lower nature conservation authority on an occasional basis.
