Dataset description

This information template is a hydrogeological evaluation with locations to which there are indications of artesian conditions. The clues were evaluated uniformly in order to be able to see, for example, in which depth, the artesian conditions are to be expected. Arteser always occurs when a groundwater area is encountered during drilling, in which the pressure conditions cause it to rise above the top of the terrain. This is the case when the hydraulic potential of groundwater is greater than the terrain surface. However, the hydraulic potential of a location is not always the same. This influences different sizes, such as new groundwater formation or groundwater production. Also, little can be said about the lateral expansion of the artesian conditions, since these often occur under a groundwater-retardant layer and the spatial expansion of this is not well known in detail. The evaluation is intended to assist in the planning of drilling in order to be able to estimate whether or not a groundwater-resistant layer can be intersected without problems. For this purpose, information on the location of the artesians, the groundwater stockworks, the groundwater barrier layer, the expected depth in which the artesian conditions can occur and much more are provided. The layer directory of the hole, geological intersections and groundwater aisles can be called up for a closer look at the local conditions via hyperlinks. This evaluation does not claim completeness and is therefore permanently processed.
