ATKIS — DLM50

The digital landscape model describes the topographic objects of the landscape in vector format. The objects are assigned to a specific object type and defined by their spatial location, geometric type, descriptive attributes and relationships with other objects (relations). The spatial position is given for the DLM50 regardless of scale and image in the coordinate system of the country survey. Which object types the DLM contains and how the objects are to be formed is defined in the ATKIS object type catalog (ATKIS-OK online). The scope of information of the DLM50 is based on the content of the topographic map 1:50,000. The DLM50 is a country-wide database derived fully automatically from the basic DLM. The object relations between the models have been obtained.
