Dataset description

This data base is used for the analysis of atmospheric circulation conditions (weather conditions, NAO) in the North Atlantic-Central European sector, such as those of reanalysis and global climate models (status: 2010) will be simulated. Such climate model runs were selected which were regionalised for Central Europe or Germany. On the one hand, the data can be used to check the suitability of the different models for the reproduction of observed circulation conditions (1950-2000). On the other hand, simulated changes (2001-2100) can be evaluated. In addition, temperature and precipitation data are provided to assess the weather effectiveness of weather conditions per GCM.
