Dataset description

The data set includes barbecue locations for the districts Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg and Tempelhof-Schöneberg. In public parks and green areas, grilling is generally prohibited in order to avoid fires or harassment of residents. On specially signposted places, however, barbecues are also allowed in public parking and recreation facilities. There are no designated barbecue areas in the districts Spandau and Steglitz-Zehlendorf. Please note temporary barbeque bans imposed by the local district offices in case of drought and heat!
