Dataset description
Ecological basic units according to the Forest Propagating Material Origin Area Ordinance (FoVHgV) in Baden-Württemberg. When applying forest woods subject to the Forest Propagation Goods Act (FoVG) in the free landscape, the ecological basic units are used for the assessment of the local origin. In addition, the data set contains both the allocation according to deposit areas for local woods in Baden-Württemberg and according to the division of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) (2012). The ecological basic units can be assigned to the deposit areas of Baden-Württemberg’s own woods or the BMUB.
