Dataset description
The 1:200,000 scale map (BÜK 200) provides an overview of the distribution of soil and soil-forming substrates for the entire state area of Rhineland-Palatinate. The surface is depicted up to a depth of two meters. Due to the scale, the legend units of the soil map are composed of soil form societies (BFG). A BFG consists of several soil forms.
