Dataset description
The 1:200,000 scale soil area data (BFD200) provides an overview of the distribution of soil, soil-forming substrates and soil function-related evaluations for the entire state area of Rhineland-Palatinate. The surface is depicted up to a depth of two meters. Documentation of the methods is available at: http://www.lgb-rlp.de/bfd200-methoden.html Terms of use see: soil data can be excluded from areas that have extreme location conditions in terms of water, air and nutrient balance, as well as base supply.
