Dataset description

The Urban Climate Planning Note Map represents an integrated assessment of the issues presented in the climate function map with regard to planning-relevant issues. It can be used to deduce protection and development measures to the urban climate situation or to evaluate the effects of changes in use. The associated planning instructions provide information about the sensitivity to changes in use, from which climatically justified requirements and measures can be derived in the context of spatial planning. The planning recommendations relate primarily to the air exchange processes during wind-weak radiation weather conditions and thus concern the built-up urban area as an effective space and the adjacent open spaces, which are important as compensation areas by means of cold air transport and production. Classification of the bioclimatic situation into four classes (very cheap, cheap, less favourable, unfavourable) in relation to the local agent). Settlement areas can be divided into sufficiently ventilated areas and thus mostly climatically favourable settlement structures as well as climatic stress areas. The bioclimatic situation in the inner urban area is characterised by the building structure. The nocturnal overheating is based on the temperature difference from the green areas of the city. The heat island effect results as a deviation from this reference value and thus represents a more suitable characteristic for measuring the urban climate effect than absolute temperature values.
