Dataset description

This download service provides data on the INSPIRE topic of management areas, protected areas, regulated areas and reporting units in the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen (FHB). This dataset contains all the areas recorded in Bremen’s compensation directory. The statutory obligation to maintain the list of compensation results from Section 17 (6) of the Federal Nature Conservation Act in conjunction with § 8 (4) Bremisches Naturschutzgesetz (German Nature Conservation Act). Under Paragraph 8(4) of the BremNatG, measures for compensation and replacement within the meaning of Paragraph 18(1) of the BNatschG (compensation in construction management planning) must also be included. The competent authority for the management of the compensation register is the highest nature conservation authority in Bremen. In addition to the description of the measures, the project promoter and the implementation status are shown in the attribute table. The list includes all measures from technical plans/authorisations of which knowledge is available, as well as all measures from development plans after 01.05.1993. In addition to compensatory and replacement measures, it includes prevention measures, cohesive measures for the European Natura 2000 protected area network and species conservation measures (CEF).
