The data set contains the cycling facilities of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
Since it is a routing-enabled dataset, not only classic cycling facilities (cycling track, cycle strips, protective strips, etc.) are recorded, but also roads and paths that can be used by cyclists. Furthermore, footpaths are also recorded when they fill gaps in the cycling network as so-called sliding sections.
The following attributes are provided:
— Status (operation, temporary installation,...)
— Street name
— Type (separate walk/cycling path, common walk/cycling path, cycle lanes, protective strips, road with mixed traffic up to 30 km/h, pedestrian zone...)
— Class (cycle path, cycle strips, protective strips, bicycle road, paths in green areas, road with mixed traffic, sliding track, others)
— Time limitation
— Duty of use
— Direction of travel (in geometry direction, in both directions)
— Surface (bituminous ceiling, water-bound ceiling, artificial stone, natural stone,...)
— Width in m
— Obstacle (passability given, bypass possible,...)
— Level (ground level, tunnel,...)
The visualisation in the WMS and thus also in the geoportal is based on the attribute class.
To increase clarity, the data is divided into seven different layers based on the classes.
In the long term, e.g. due to construction measures, blocked paths are not published in the dataset.
