Digital terrain model 1: 5 000 (editing LBEG) (WMS service)

The Digital Terrain Model 1: 5 000 of the State Office for Mining, Energy and Geology (DGM5LBEG) is the corrected and modified version of the Digital Terrain Model 1: 5 000 (DGM5) of the State Office for Geoinformation and Land Development Lower Saxony (LGLN). With the correction, the partial tiles were merged, leaf cutting problems and various errors were eliminated and the data were based on a reference system (Gasuß-Krüger 3. Meridian) projected. The work steps are extensively documented. As a result, the raster data are available in a dataset for Lower Saxony without blade cutting and nationwide. The DGM5LBEG represents the terrain surface and thus the relief of the earth by elevation points arranged as regular lattice. It has a grid width of 12.5 m.
