Dataset description

The Digital Topographic Map 1:100 000 (DTK100) contains 1:100 000 scale raster data derived from the ATKIS® DLM and DGM of the Länder. The raster data are divided into single planes (layers) according to cartographic content elements. Their structure has been defined in the AdV’s product and quality standard for Digital Topographic Maps. In addition to the sum layer containing the full colored card sheet, 24 other single-coloured layers are part of the DTK100. It should be noted that there are partly country-specific differences in chart graphics and colour assignment. The data are available in a uniform grid resolution for the Federal Republic of Germany in various geodetic reference systems and map projections.
