Distance and management requirements of agricultural land on waters according to DüV, PflSchG, WHG, ThürWG and ThürDüV

For Thuringian farms, the management, fertilisation and plant protection of agricultural land on water bodies has changed fundamentally since 2020 through various changes in fertilising, plant protection and water law at federal and state level. In order to facilitate the implementation of these various regulations and to support the farms in their essential contribution to water protection, the TLLLR has developed a GIS solution with the assistance and on behalf of the Thuringian Ministry of Infrastructure and Agriculture (TMIL). For this purpose, the embankment upper edges of waters I. and II. Digitises order and determines the slope inclination using an terrain model. In conjunction with the legal requirements and the formation of segments, the spacing and management patterns at the waters for all agricultural land used in the Thuringian field block system can now be mapped. The scenes will be updated annually on February 1st.
