District of Gütersloh: Protected areas

Description of protected areas pursuant to Sections 23, 26, 28, 29 of the Federal Nature Conservation Act (Natural Protected Areas, Landscape Protected Areas, Natural Monuments and Protected Landscape Components) in the County of Gütersloh. As further information on the nature reserves, vegetation-relevant areas or so-called alternating grassland areas for which special regulations have been made in the protected area regulations are provided for individual areas. Furthermore, the European Natura2000 sites (FFH sites and bird sanctuaries), limited to the boundaries of the Gütersloh County, are presented.
