Dataset description

The data collection contains the results of geophysical well measurements (so-called logs) carried out for the geoscientific land survey. The aim of the drill hole measurements is to determine absolute values and contrasts of physical parameters, which, incorporating additional geoscientific information, characterise the subsurface condition and enable a correlation of geological units between different boreholes By using different probes, different parameters can be explored in drill hole measurements. Among other things, the Geological Service NRW performs measurements of the natural gamma radiation (gamma-ray) of the surrounding rock of the hole. In addition, there are logs for various parameters that have been included for specific questions.
