E-government interface for geocoding and coordinate transformation (API — Application Programming Interface)

The e-government interface is a web service that is provided via the e-government basic component Geodata (GeoBAK). The components of the interface are: 1. Geocoding — Determining the coordinates to an address consisting of street, house number, postal code and location. The data can be processed in the form of individual records, lists and files. The processing of files is done asynchronously and requires an e-mail address to notify the completion of the result. 2. Coordinate transformation — Transform point coordinates into one of the coordinate reference systems common in the Free State of Saxony. Both individual coordinates and lists can be processed.
