EasyGSH-DB: Tide characteristic values of the ground thrust voltage (TDKB)

Motivation: Calculation and graphical representation of different tide characteristics of the effective ground thrust voltage, like the tide characteristic values of the water level and the tide characteristic values of the flow, contribute to work out selected aspects of tidal dynamics separately for the ebb and flood current as well as for the entire tide in coastal waters and estuaries. In particular, the calculation carried out separately for the flood current and the ebb current allows an insight into the inequality or asymmetry of the tidal phases. Asymmetries can be one of the main causes of residual ebbe or flood-oriented sediment transport.
