Dataset description

The city of Halle also provides some selected topics as OGC-compliant WMS. Advantage for the user: this data can also be used outside the environmental atlas web application in any modern GI system via URL. This allows the user to invite data via the Internet in their usual GIS, which they physically no longer have to have on site. As one of the first local specialist offices in Saxony-Anhalt, the Environment Agency is taking a major step towards INSPIRE and thus significantly improves access to environmental information. To enrich the indoor environmental atlas WMS with suitable topographic background data, the OSMWMS working with the free OpenStreetMap data (see also http://www.osmwms.de) can be used.
